I’m a UX/UI driven front end engineer who builds modern interface components using React and ES6 JavaScript. I enhance application performance while allowing for future scalability.
As a web developer, I consistently look for ways to improve workflow efficiency and productivity. I’ve also collaborated with various departments — like marketing, copywriting, and e-commerce — to create and QA assets meeting specific themes and requirements.
I’m always eager to implement and learn the latest web technologies in my work. And I’m very open to exploring new areas of web development and hope to connect about future work opportunities!
Skills
HTML
I translate design mockups into semantic HTML. I’ve developed emails using HTML that reached hundreds of thousands of subscribers daily.
CSS
I use CSS to improve customer experience. Whether it’s styling lead gen modals, websites, or emails, I’m very comfortable working in vanilla CSS. I’m familiar with Sass, which allows me to build customer experiences more efficiently within my codebase. And I can quickly turn around mobile-first front end websites using Bootstrap.
JavaScript
I frequently work with JavaScript, specifically ES6. I’m familiar with writing both static and dynamic websites using DOM manipulation.
React/React Native
ReactJS is the primary library I use for building front end applications. I’ve been responsible for maintaining and creating features for two enterprise mobile applications built in React Native. And I’m very familiar with working in Expo, which significantly simplifies the creation and testing of mobile apps. Working in React Native has also made me more aware of the nuances in developing for iOS and Android platforms.
Node.JS
I’m familiar with using Node.JS to build backend APIs combined with Express. Using these tools, I’m able to build services relying on a database and authentication.
GraphQL
I work with GraphQL to help query through large amounts of data. This can be especially useful when working with a large number of subscription packages being offered to clients. Working with GraphQL helps prioritize retrieving exact client-specific data without bogging down systems.
